Zusammenfassung

This project is part of the DFG Research Unit "Space-Time Reference Systems for Monitoring Global Change and for Precise Navigation". Its goal is to provide lunar reference systems with an accuracy meeting all requirements of modern geodesy, astronomy and future exploration based on refined lunar models and novel integrated data sets. Laser ranging data and measurements to and of lunar orbiters shall be combined to determine parameters of the Earth-Moon system. The resulting lunar orbit will contribute to improved solar system ephemeris and serve as dynamic realization of the celestial reference system. As one product, an improved Moon-wide uniform coordinate knowledge will be realized analyzing image data and altimetry from lunar missions like LRO. Furthermore, the potential of new installations on the Moon, e.g. GNSS and VLBI transmitters, will be investigated to fill data gaps required to uniformly realise the Moon system at the cm level.
